The title Twelve Views of Vermont came out of my lack of knowledge of the English language.
A friend from Vermont told me the name of this type of construction, typical of the area, was a “shed”. The most accurate translation in Spanish would be “cobertizo”. When I was asked to give the painting’s title for a catalogue of a large exhibition in Spain, I could not remember the English term. As a solution, I settled on Twelves Views of Vermont, which I consider more symbolic.
