Apple trees in Summer
This painting, I started last summer down in my neighbor’s overgrown orchard and just finished last week. It is part of a series that started with “Apple trees in snow”. I am more concerned with the negative spaces than the trees themselves, playing around with the airspace and thinking of Cezanne.
