Ah, Jack in the Box. I had to decide whether to put a bus in this painting on the left, but went with the RVs. Growing up I remember going to a Jack in the Box with my aunt Trish when they had a clown head that took your order. The clown head asked my aunt ‘How about a date?’ to which she replied ‘Fuck off Jack!’ and we sped away burgerless.

Again – your ability to see light during a time when light is not totally defined is wonderful.
Great painting. I love the sky and am still trying to master it and the waterscapes.
This is dazzling. That sky is dazzling. I hate you. When is your show?

Thank you John! I finished putting it up on Thursday and it’s open next week, but the reception isn’t until Friday, the 24th. I’m going to make a FB event for it and an announcement here, but am waiting since Sean’s opening is tonight and I didn’t want to confuse anyone.
Thanks! That could be one hell of a strong show. I think I can make it too.
Looking forward to your show. I hope you have it catered by Jack on the Box.

Thank you Scott. I’ll bring you some curly fries if I can’t get it catered..
I laughed out loud for real; your aunts great! I like how you did the letters on the detail of the Sign.
What a laugh! That’s a terrific memory of the place! No wonder you’ve never forgotten it.
My Aunt is great, she’s like a second mom to me and we had a lot of fun growing up.
Is there a place we can see the location and details of your upcoming show?
