A mirrored building in daylight. I had been looking at painting this building since the trees were shorter than the building. This one seemed to be the favorite at my show in New York- the show is up until December 3rd if you have a chance to get to NY. Mostly sky and distorted landscape- these buildings give me a chance to twist space around like Soutine but with thinner paint of course. Keeping the overall design I wanted of the clouds in the building required me to keep counting to keep track of where I was.
If you register and login you can post comments. (huh?)
One of the perks of membership is that you get to post comments on objects, museums, and other member's walls. (Though some users have chosen to restrict access to their personal walls - in which case you'll have to friend them before you can post to their wall.)
Anybody can register - though you do have to be at least thirteen or older and have a working email address.
It doesn't cost anything to register. Just sign up and you'll be an insider in no time flat.
Hoping to get there with Roz on Friday (Hirschl & Adler, not 3800 Barham Boulevard).
Thank you Jerry, it does look best in person! I look forward to meeting Roz, maybe in March? Talk with you soon.
