Second in a series of paintings from Delft, der Nederlands. I was inspired by the colors of Holland, the blues and reds and oranges of buildings and their reflections in canals. While living a white and grey Vermont winter, I held on to those warm images in my heart, just to help stay happy while shoveling.

I keep trying to give this a star, but nothing happens!! I really like this one and its companion, the composition, warm and cool colors, and how it draws you right into the scene. Bravo.
Thanks Debbie. I think you just go to the right hand box and click on that star. Saw some of your stuff at the studio today. Looks good.

Love the warm tones, especially at this time of year. Hiver profond. When most of us Vermonters dream of being elsewhere!
