This is a very recent painting, an experiment using oilstick; I decided to work more openly, keeping any fortunate accidents, and let the energy evident in the beginning of a picture remain visible.

This picture captures a spontaneous, emotional and mysterious moment. The fact that we can’t see their faces adds to the mystery…are they going to kiss? is the one laying down alive? What is their relationship to one another? The picture clearly portrays a powerful bond between the two characters and leaves the viewer questioning.
