Portraits

I am rarely commissioned to do portraits. I usually go for character over flattery, and the result rarely matches the sitter’s, or the sitter’s loved ones, ideal vision of themselves. My typical paintings don’t show humanity at peace with life or themselves, and therefore don’t inspire confidence in potential sitters. Nevertheless, I think I do interesting portraits
