Currently I paint in an old airplane hangar in Santa Monica, California. The recurring sound of airplane take-offs and landings from the active airport runaway outside my studio reminds me of my own history of travel. After I finished my Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art at UCLA and my Master’s Degree in Fine Art at NYU, my wanderings took me from the U.S. to Asia to Australia to Europe and back, again and again. These wanderings have helped provide a series of spaces that appear within my paintings. Within the past year my paintings have entered collections in Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro, Paris, and Amsterdam as well as Los Angeles, San Francisco and Boston.

My most recent solo exhibition ran from September 2010 through January 13, 2011 at Manifesta Maastricht in Maastricht, The Netherlands.
