I am a completely self taught artist living in Columbus Ohio. I do not know whether or not that will help or hinder my validity. I have been painting in a mixture of Flemish and Venetian techniques. My influences are Leonardo DaVinci, Caravaggio, Jan Van Eyck, Vermeer and many others. My subject matters range from the mundane to the profound. I am still stumbling into my own visual language. One day I hope to achieve a clarity that will be clearly defined, time will tell on whether that has been achieved or not.
