Army at 17 with a year in VN with a transportation company. Nassau County Police Dept. in varying roles but mostly as a police officer. Not exciting enough, so tried U.S. Customs on the northern border where I ultimately retired in 2004. In the interim, graduated from Nassau Community College (A.S.) and Adelphi University (B.A.). Some graduate work but never finished. Ah, those Maine winters started kicking butt, so the wife moved south to the ‘Tar Heel State’. I now own/operate an electrical contracting business and teach at Sandhills Community College in the evenings.
