About Ole Worm

Worm

Ole Worm (latinized as Olaus Wormius) has as good a claim as anyone to the title of “Father of the Museum”. (You can read about him on Wikipedia.)

We’ve chosen Ole as the Open Museum mascot and resident sock puppet. His official duties are to wander around spreading good cheer and to make an occasional comment. He must be doing something right because he is currently the highest paid member of the Open Museum staff.
