UNCOVERED celebrates and promotes the creativity of recycling. This collection showcases the work of guest artists whom the Norwich Public Library invited to transform existing books, which might otherwise end up in landfills, into pieces of art known as altered books. The exhibit also recounts the story of the 10 days of events celebrating altered books, and displays objects created by community members, who were given the opportunity to join the artists in creating.
